Enrollment for 2018 insurance via the Affordable Care Act (ACA / Obamacare) starts November 1 and ends December 15. The Trump Administration has cut advertising to announce these deadlines by 90%. They also cut the enrollment period in half, from three months in 2016 to six weeks now.
You should also know that on most Sundays during the enrollment period, the marketplace website will be down from midnight to noon. Missing this deadline could severely limit your ability to purchase health insurance. Also, if fewer people enroll, the Republicans can claim ACA is a failure.
